Rinnai solar hot water systems require little maintance and are long lasting

In Perth we have on average 8 hours a day to generate hot water. Rinnai solar hot water systems are installed with 2 booster options

The first is a thermostatically controlled electric booster, you will not require to use it much. The second is a Rinnai Infinity gas instantaneous hot water system

Choose from either 2 types of Rinnai solar systems. One where the tank and the collectors are on the roof .This version is known as a therma coupled system. That is the heat in the water forces the cold water out of the tank and through the collectors

The second option is a split system. This is where the tank is on the ground and the collectors are on the roof. The water is pumped up to the collectors and flow is controlled thermostatically

Rinnai also provide 2 options of collectors on the roof. The first type and most common is the panel. These are generally about 2mt high and 1 mt wide. With copper risers running between two black panels, the water is heated

The second collector Rinnai provide are the evacuated tubes. Evacuated tube systems can have a number of tubes that again have risers feeding up and down the length of each tube. Each tube fixes to a header that is connected back to the tank

The standard panel system is better suited to the Perth climate. All solar system’s receive a Federal Government rebate, known as STC’s

STC is short for Small Scale Technology Certificates. STC’s are granted after testing of a system as to the efficiency of each system

Each brand and size of system offered for installation receive various number of STC’s. Rinnai solar systems receive the most STC’s over other brands due to their effecincies

The Australian government offer this system in order to encourage it’s citizens to use a green emmisions friendly source to generate hot water. The STC’s are deducted at point of sale on a full installation

STC’s for supply only and Plonk On’s are treated in a different method
